Registered Nurse Progressive Care

HCA Healthcare, a premier provider of crucial healthcare services, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit. This role is pivotal in delivering advanced care to critically ill or recovering patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment, but are not in need of ICU care. Acting as a key part of the healthcare team, you will employ your specialized skills to support the healing and recovery process, uphold our high standards of care, and enhance our mission to care for and improve human life. Monitor and record patient progress and response to treatments. Administer medications and perform routine nursing care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate patient care. Educate patients and their families on illness and post-hospital treatment. Maintain patient confidentiality and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Critical thinking and problem-solving Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in clinical skills specific to the progressive care setting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
