Senior Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer to join our skilled team in the Engineering & Design department. The ideal candidate will contribute to the research, design, integration, and testing of complex systems, ensuring alignment with ethical standards and supportive of our mission towards inclusivity and teamwork. This role requires a proactive approach to system development stages, from conceptualization and design through to the implementation and sustainment of high-quality, secure, and efficient defense solutions. Lead the development and integration of sophisticated systems and technology solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technologies align with the project specifications and standards. Conduct system architecture assessments and make recommendations for improvements and optimization. Manage multiple projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and stay within budget. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Stay abreast of the latest industry technologies and integrate modern solutions into systems engineering processes. Strong understanding of system design and integration principles. Proficient in modeling and simulation tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with industry-standard project management and collaboration tools. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Certification in Project Management (PMP) advantageous. Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, systems modeling, or similar areas.
