Assistant Director, Imaging Services

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Provides supervisory and technical support and direction for the staff in imaging at Babcock Specialty Hospital. Recognizes problems with existing procedures and employs professional knowledge to make necessary decisions and formal changes. Responsible for quality and all aspects of safety in performance of Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. Promotes the University Health mission, purpose, goals, objectives and guest relations program. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree preferred. RCIS or RN license is required. 5 years of supervisory and management experience in a patient care department, with extensive expertise in all areas of Cath lab or Nursing are required. Experience in a university teaching hospital setting is preferred.
