RN Long Term Care/Infection Control Nurse

Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a dedicated and skilled RN Long Term Care/Infection Control Nurse to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch healthcare services in a compassionate environment, specifically tailored to underserved communities. As an RN in our Long Term Care facility, you will focus on managing infections and maintaining high standards of care for our patients’ overall health and wellness. With a focus on disease prevention and control, you will play a key role in overseeing our infection control protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of both patients and staff. Implement and monitor infection control practices in the facility Educate staff and patients on infection prevention protocols Conduct regular audits and maintain records of infection data Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage outbreak emergencies Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal infection control regulations Develop and revise infection control policies and procedures Strong knowledge of infection control practices and procedures Proficient in using medical software and electronic health records Excellent communication and educational skills Ability to work well in a team and with diverse populations Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
