This role demands a professional who is adept at balancing skilled nursing care with a heartfelt approach to patient interaction. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans in conjunction with other healthcare professionals. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions and vital statistics. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Maintain a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for patients. Educate patients and families on post-hospital care, including medication management, dietary restrictions, and follow-up appointments. Stay current with advances in healthcare techniques and technologies.
