Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Operate and monitor medical equipment. Help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results. Instruct patients and families on topics such as health education or disease prevention.
