Vice President, Research Methodologies is responsible for planning, designing, prioritizing and overseeing the execution of the research methodologies, content architecture and content initiatives to support business growth, client engagement and retention. This senior level leader will be responsible for leading the evolution of the heritage CEB content strategy in alignment with Company best practices in methodologies and content architecture. The incumbent is also responsible for overall leadership for the function including resourcing, budgets and deliverables across the following areas: * Research Methodologies * Content Architecture * Content Strategy Initiatives & Projects * Content Experience This role provides strategic vision, direction, business management and thought leadership to drive continuous improvement in designing and delivering highly engaging content that supports new business acquisition and client retention objectives for Company. Strategic Planning * Plans, designs and executes complex Methodology and Content Engagement Strategy initiatives, programs and projects in alignment with Research and Company best practices and business objectives. * Partners across Research Content Strategy, Content Production, Research Leaders, Product and Platform functions to lead and deliver on a common Research Architecture that supports the roles we serve as well as their mission critical priorities, key initiatives and projects. * Develops and leads a strategy and roadmap for CEB Research content evolution projects in alignment with Research architecture objectives, Product/Client Experience objectives and business outcomes. * Ensures a repeatable content architecture underpins the objectives for legacy products and innovates to support new integrated product objectives. * Contributes project leadership for organization-wide projects/initiatives as required, facilitating virtual team efforts and leading to ensure project execution is on time, on budget and on target to deliver the anticipated business value. This includes thoughtful planning, fact base and change management that underpins each content initiative. Continuous Improvement * Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement * Embrace a growth mindset and continuously look for ways to improve scalability and efficiency. * Maintain an excellent general understanding of the evolving Company Research portfolio, internal/external business management & informational needs, and project management. Leadership and People Management * Leadership and strategic direction over the heritage CEB content architecture, content portfolio, methodologies and content experience aligned to Company Research best practices and standards. * Independent decision maker working as a senior leader in the Research & Advisory Strategy organization * Effective collaboration and virtual management of resources across the relevant content teams resulting in high levels of associate performance, engagement and productivity. * Identify and plan future resource needs within the Research & Advisory Strategy and Operations teams to help deliver on an innovative, scalable and repeatable content architecture with consideration given to budgetary planning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field is essential and a post-graduate qualification such as a Master’s degree is desirable but not essential. 12-15 years total business experience with increased levels of responsibility including strategic planning, budget accountability, content & methodology strategy, content architecture and content experience and people management. 10+ years of research, content or related business experience Demonstrable track record of designing and implementing successful projects and programs and driving change in a global environment. In-depth understanding of the syndicated Research industry is required
