The Vice President, Global Reseller Sales is a strategic role responsible for establishing and driving sales strategy across our major reseller partners globally. Working with a dedicated team, this role will seek to provide consistency and standardization (where applicable) across geographies with our reseller partners. This role will work closely with regional K&L sales leadership to align our reseller sales teams and/or work with distribution partners to increase efficiencies in specific regions. This role will own global reseller terms and conditions and work closely with regional leaders to determine best policies in their markets. This position’s team will coordinate with product data systems to ensure that accurate information and product integrity is being maintained.

This role will work directly with emerging resellers and retailers and will work closely with channel marketing to provide better alignment and communication with our digital and ebook distribution partners. Special emphasis will be placed on Company’s position with Amazon and this role will drive overall global account management with this retailer.

Responsibilities : Achievement of Revenue Goals: Meet and exceed defined revenue targets for reseller channels across all product sets Establish regional or country specific sales targets to ensure focus remains on key growth areas/markets Drive consistent policies with key reseller partners to improve overall profitability metrics Achievement of Consistent Terms: Establish measurable terms across various reseller and distribution partners to better align with Company’s standards and terms to drive better revenue management Focus on Company global relationship with Amazon, determine areas for improvement, execute on broader global Amazon strategy partners to drive new models Staff Training Goals Ensure management and account management staff complete strategic selling program Establish standard training benchmarks for onboarding new staff along with KPI dashboards to more closely monitor overall performance and activity Ensure staff complies with corporate training directives/complianceinto staff training New Reseller Partner Development: Drive new partner relationships with emerging distributors and partners – especially in international markets Work closely to drive and own ebook partner sales with established and emerging companies Collaboration with Product and Marketing Teams: Ensure continued collaboration with product data management teams to provide better data governance policies and feeds to our key customers Provide product teams with customer intelligence to help drive better marketing information and customer messaging Requirements Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience 10-12 years in sales key/essential knowledge of reseller channels with 7-8 years of sales management experience. A keen knowledge of digital products and sales workflows is essential. Demonstrated success in leading large sales organizations is required. Should have extensive experience interacting with large retail partners and managing both office and field based sales teams. Familiarity in the sales and support process of digital products Extensive experience leading large field and inside based sales teams. Thorough understanding of account manager responsibilities and how their efforts contribute to success Knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce) is essential Strong written and verbal communication Able to lead effective presentations to internal and external customers, in both large groups and one-on-one settings Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to deliver on agreed-upon deadlines Must be able to handle a heavy workload Calm and steady approach to problem-solving Must have strong critical thinking skills Should be able to act in a professional manner which inspires others to behave the same way towards customers. This should be based on experience and interpersonal skills English (other languages like Mandarin are desirable but not necessary) Ability to travel internationally multiple times per quarter is necessary. Ability to travel 2-3 sales meetings per year is necessary.
