The Quality Manager is responsible for establishment, implementation, and maintenance of hospital quality improvement initiatives reflective of the organizational goals and vision of the hospital entity. They will assist the Director of Quality to facilitate organizational performance improvement projects while finding opportunities for process change. The Quality Manager identifies opportunities for improvement based on evidence based practices, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, and monitoring for areas of opportunity within established processes. The Quality Manager, in collaboration with the Director, will assure compliance with all accrediting agencies. It is an expectation that the Quality Manager will be an active participant in leadership meetings, quality councils, and in patient safety initiatives. This person will have an active role in coordinating the monthly Performance Improvement Steering Committee agenda and data presentation. They will have direct oversight over many of the hospital's registry abstraction processes and data production team with a direct report to the Director of Quality. The Quality Manager will help to foster a patient safety- driven culture while supporting quality staff and future performance improvement projects. It is essential to have an understanding of how to collect/analyze data based upon national trends and evidence based care and generate meaningful reports using information systems/clinical information.

Minimum Requirements

Required:

Bachelor's Degree. MSN or related degree preferred

Registered Nurse Missouri Licensure

3 years acute care
