The Daytona Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room has been in operation since 1948. We are owned and operated by Delaware North Companies. We also have cornhole tournaments and live concerts.

We are a major sponsor of Greyhound Pets of America (GPA). We provide support to GPA through financial donations, fundraisers and use of our facilities for their donation center and kennel compound. When greyhounds finish their racing career, GPA places them in a loving home where they can enjoy their retirement.

The Opportunity

Assists Chef with food production and supply management for Clubhouse Restaurant

Actively participates in food production operations according to the quality and cleanliness standards

When required, is responsible for inventory and quality control of kitchen/concession items

Complies with proper food halding procedures and maintains a Florida approved food handling certificate. Qualifications

Certification from an accredited culinary or hospitality school is preferred

Must possess a minimum of 2 years of culinary experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment.

Knowledge of food preparation and controls.

Must be able to work varied shifts. Physical Requirements

The following requirements are essential for the tasks assigned to this position:

Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Hearing of Conversation Level,

Vision: Distance and Near,

Certification from an accredited culinary or hospitality school is preferred

Must possess a minimum of 2 years of culinary experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment.

Standing and walking 100% of the time

Requires some bending, stooping, and the ability to periodically lift and carry up to 25 pounds, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.

Must be able to speak, read and understand English fluently Conditions of Employment
