The Opportunity

Responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in all food and beverage operations.

Responsible for ensuring that all rules and procedures are being followed and excellent customer service is being provided.

Responsibilities

1 st Major Function (60% of time spent)

Assist in the managing of all Food and Beverage operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, coaching and counseling, ensures all Associates adhere to company standards and procedures.

2 nd Major Function (20% of time spent)

Responsible for assisting with the leading and motivating the departmental team to promote good employee morale and ensure a high level of customer commitment in line with DNC company standards.

3 rd Major Function (10% of time spent)

Maintains positive client and guest relations; responds to client requests and ensures alignment with company standards; investigates and follows through on Guest complaints.

4 th Major Function (10% of time spent)

Responsible for ensuring all associates are in compliance with GuestPath standards and Service Recovery

Responsible for compliance with all alcohol and food safety laws and regulations.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years experience in the Food & Beverage, Hospitality Industry

Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management position

Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills required.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is required.

Must possess a strong knowledge of food and beverage procedures, controls and administration, as well as a complete awareness and ability to perform all foodservice functions.

Excellent guest service orientation, communication and organizational skills.

Ability to manage frequent change.

Skilled with computer programs such as Micros POS system and Microsoft 365 is required including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Must obtain and maintain a Florida approved food handling certification.

Must be eligible to immediately qualify for a Florida pari-mutuel/cardroom license and maintain the license during entire employment.

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English well.

Must be able to work varied shifts.
