A Best Upon Request patient concierge proactively generates requests from the eligible population he or she serves. The primary accountability of a patient concierge is to compassionately care for patients holistically; focusing on improving their experience in the hospital or healthcare setting. Utilization of the service is key to a successful concierge program. In addition, a concierge responds to incoming customer requests, either fulfilling directly or partnering with our many local and national vendors.Accountable for:Patient ConciergeDelivering excellent customer serviceAnticipating and addressing patients needsRounding to patients and patient familiesFulfilling patient requests, running errands, coordinating travel needs, performing and presenting information research and various other personal service requestsManaging effectively a fast-paced environment with numerous projectsAchieving daily and monthly metrics regarding customer utilization, satisfaction, volume of requests, and usage of our service management platformMaintaining confidential and proprietary company and customer information and assetsLiving out our core valuesSuccess ManagementConnecting regularly with Concierge CoachDeveloping and maintaining positive working relationships with our client liaison, executive sponsor, customers and vendorsParticipating in BEST and Client meetingsRecording accurate data and operating point-of-sale service management platform dailyClosing daily and monthly petty cashReconciling corporate credit card accountsReconciling site inventoryVerifying site charges for invoicingMarketing and Customer EngagementAttending benefits fairs, new-hire orientations, BEST grand openings and open housesPresenting to departments or other groupsEducating potential patient customers on enrollment processRounding to potential customers and customers for marketing purposesGarnering customer feedback form responsesLeveraging BESTs customer marketing team to produce and distribute communications to potential customers and current customersVendor and Program Development/MaintenanceQualifying new vendorsNegotiating vendor discounts for customersCreating special promotions in collaboration with vendors to encourage customer and service utilizationEnsuring fully-stocked inventory such as stamps, tickets, gift cards, etc.Developing vendor fairsQualifications and Experience:Extremely trustworthy, reliable, dependable and flexibleServant-leader; compassionate, respectful, empathetic, approachable, personable, humbleOptimistic; friendly, happy and positiveStress tolerant; ability to be exposed to high-stress, emotional situationsThree to five years of customer service experience preferredAssociates or Bachelors degree preferredReliable transportation; willingness to use daily on the job; must be able to meet minimum vehicle insurance liability coverageDetail oriented and committed to accuracyExcellent listening and communication skillsOwnership thinkerResourceful; multi-taskerExcellent time management, organizational and managerial skillsAbility to interact and participate effectively within a team, while also being self-motivated and disciplinedResults-oriented, solutions-mindedProficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, OutlookStrong
