<span><B>Position: &nbsp;Help Desk Job in Stow, Ohio</B><br><B>Location: Stow, OH</B><br><B>Duration: 12 month contract with potential for renewal each year</B><br>&nbsp;<br>Modis, a leader in the staffing industry, is working with a client to fill a <B>Help Desk Job in Stow, Ohio</B> within their education for excellence system of schools. &nbsp;&nbsp;The Help Desk Job in Stow, Ohio will work closely with teachers, students, and staff to troubleshoot all IT issues. This is a customer service role and candidates will need to have a calm demeanor in sometimes stressful situations.<br>&nbsp;<br><B>Responsibilities: </B><br><ul>
<li>Assist teachers, students, and staff via phone, email, remotely, and in person with all IT issues</li><li>Maintain ownership and troubleshoot issues to completion</li><li>Maintain a calm and professional demeanor</li><li>Research issues outside of currently knowledge and skills</li></ul>
&nbsp;<br><B>Qualifications:</B><br><ul>
<li>Basic hardware troubleshooting (differentiate faulty component- hardware, software, config, connection; replace, reinstall, or reconfigure faulty component, test to verify solution)</li><li>Experience supporting PC laptops, PC desktops, Chromebooks, Smartboards, Printers (especially HP), Copiers (konica minolta), Projectors (Epson and In Focus), ipads</li><li>Customer oriented attitude (true desire to solve issues and help end users)</li><li>Ability to communicate </li><li>Self piloting (take a problem from definition to resolution- including contacting vendor for warranty, etc.)</li><li>Organized, self motivated (not waiting for a checklist of tasks, able to define what needs done and able to tackle the tasks)</li><li>Desire to continue to learn and grow their IT knowledge and skills</li></ul>
&nbsp;<br><B>Preferred Qualifications:</B><br><ul>
<li>Experience with imaging computers</li><li>Experience with enrolling and updating Chromebooks</li><li>Basic network troubleshooting (PING, diagnose a loopback on a switch, static/dhcp addressing)</li><li>Experience upgrading from XP to windows 7 would be very helpful</li><li>Experience with GAFE (Gmail, Drive, Groups, etc)</li></ul>
