The candidate for the IT Operations Systems Supervisor job in Denver will also have an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals. <br>&nbsp;<br>This client offers:<br>&bull; A generous total compensation package<br>&bull; Medical, dental, life and disability benefits<br>&bull; Health Savings Accounts<br>&bull; Annual bonus plus long-term incentive programs<br>&bull; Parking and Transportation Reimbursement Accounts<br>&bull; Health Club Reimbursement <br>&bull; 401(k) Plan with Employer Matching Contributions <br>&bull; Tuition Reimbursement <br>&nbsp;<br>IT Operations Systems Supervisor Job Details and Responsibilities: <br>&bull; Coordinates and supervises the daily and weekly activities for the IT Systems Team to meet core business goals and objectives<br>&bull; Participates in continuous improvement activities and ensures company polices and procedures are followed<br>&bull; Manage the enterprise&#39;s IT systems, to include data storage systems, virtualization platforms, server hardware and operating systems and associated performance and availability monitoring systems<br>&bull; Participate in departmental leadership activitites, this includes hiring, training, staff development, performance management and annual performance reviews for the Systems Team<br>&bull; Work with the Supervisor, IT Systems Engineering and Manager, IT Infrastructure Systems to develop budget projections based on short- and long-term goals and objectives<br>&bull; Ensures continued Sarbanes-Oxley compliance through regular reviews of evidence collection and data testing during scheduled procedures<br>&bull; Propose changes to existing policies and procedures to ensure operating efficiency and regulatory compliance<br>&bull; Manages vendors and contracts, ensuring company receives maximum benefit and value<br>&bull; Gather, track and produce regular reports which focus on core key performance indicators (KPI) for the IT Systems Team<br>&nbsp;<br>IT Operations Systems Supervisor Job Requirements: <br>&bull; 8 - 10 years of experience in a combination of systems management, information technology, IT operations, engineering and IT jobs. At least four must be in a leadership role. <br>&bull; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information systems concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.<br>&bull; Proven track record and experience in developing information technology policies and procedures.<br>&bull; Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as SOX.<br>&bull; Project management skills: financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management.<br>&bull; Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals and the aspiration to grow into a role of more responsibility. <br>&bull; Bachleor Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field, or equivalent work- or education-related experience.<br>&bull; Professional system management certification, such as a VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE), or other similar credentials, is required.<br>&bull; Knowledge of common information technology management frameworks, such as ITIL, COBIT, and ISO.<br>&bull; Experience with contract and vendor negotiations.<br>&bull; High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision.<br>&nbsp;<br>This client is highly motivated and is scheduling interviews for the first few weeks of 2015.
