<span>Modis seeks a strong <B>Seibel 8 Developer </B><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;">to work a one year contract job in Indianapolis, IN. 46250<br>&nbsp;<br>SUMMARY: Responsible for utilizing information technology to analyze, design, implement and maintain complex components of information systems that support business operations. <br>JOB DUTIES: Writes source code, adapts existing components, compiles, links and tests the developed components as units creating test stubs and test data as necessary. <br>Fixes defects identified during unit testing and re-execute unit tests to verify the expected behavior. Translates the business requirements into a further level of detail that describes how to implement the system. <br>Performs some project management tasks including planning, estimating, status reporting and scope management. Participates in definition of the requirements of a system including the functional and non-functional requirements. <br>Performs analysis and conceptual design on complex system components and ensures designs are accurately documented and receive the appropriate stakeholder approval. Provides the appropriate support both ongoing and during the integration and acceptance testing phases. Performs other duties as assigned. <br>&nbsp;<br>Ability to work within a team-based environment to accomplish team-based goals. <br>Ability to design and build Siebel components and integration based on Use Case requirements. <br>Proven ability to document work and work in process driven development environment. <br></span><B>Specific Duties: </B><span style="color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;"><br>1. Develops and unit tests new functionality within Siebel including user interfaces, integration to external systems, XML/XSL, database design, eScript, CTI, web services, SmartScripts, workflows, etc. <br>2. Troubleshoots and repairs existing defects. <br>3. Creates and presents design documents for all enhancements. <br>4. Provides technical support for existing Siebel applications. <br>5. Creates and presents conceptual design for use case reviews. <br>6. Conducts peer code reviews. <br>7.
