Hospitality Parking is looking for Valet Attendants that can provide a consistently elevated level of friendliness and efficiency for all hotel guests and hotel visitors by parking guest vehicles in a safe manner. Valet attendants drive guest vehicles from hotel to designated parking garage and parking lot for valet parking and return guest vehicle to hotel when requested by the guest. The Valet Attendant is also responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to guests as they arrive and leave the hotel. When servicing guests, the Valet Attendant is responsible for being professional, friendly, and helpful to our guests.The position involves assisting guests with their luggage and packages upon arrival and departure and for arranging transportation when necessary. In addition, this position is required to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public areas in the hotel for both guests and employees.

Regular attendance and complying with company standard of appearance is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance or failure to follow standard of appearance policy will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

High school or equivalent education preferred.

Experience:

Ability to operate all types of passenger vehicles (standard and automatic).

Licenses or Certificates:

Valid state driver's license required. Clean driving record check.

Appearance:

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. This includes, but not limited to, no facial hair and no visible tattoos (no neck, face, or hand tattoos).

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

* Requires good verbal communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English.
* Must have satisfactory driving record.
* Must have satisfactory criminal background.
* Must be over 20 years old.

Physical Demands:

* Most work tasks are performed outdoors. There is no effective protection from weather.
* The worker is driving and getting in and out of vehicles most of the day. Must be able to stand or drive and exert well-paced mobility for up to 7 hours in length.
* Must be able to lift to 60 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
* Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. frequently.
* Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and luggage handling tasks.
* Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
* Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
* Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near and color vision and depth perception.
* Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
