* Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned to Riverwind Hotel LLC's standard
* Ensure that public areas are clean and well-maintained
* Stock linens and supplies as needed in storage closets on every floor
* Stock and properly store laundry carts after each shift
* Notify management of any broken or missing FF&E items
* Notify maintenance of any maintenance issues
* Clean, organize, and maintain laundry and break room areas
* Respond to any and all housekeeping requests by guests or through the work order program
* Interact with and respond to guests' questions or concerns

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

NOTE: These include, but are not limited to the following (additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary):

* Attend weekly housekeeping staff meetings
* Follow MSDS and proper safety while at work
* Comply with and enforce policies and procedures
* Assist other departments as needed or assigned
* Other duties as requested or assigned by the Director of Housekeeping
* Work and communicate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel
* Develop and maintain rapport with other Riverwind Hotel and casino staff
* Participate in Riverwind Hotel, LLC and casino sponsored events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):

* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Good oral and written communication skills
* Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters
* Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
* Good math skills
* Good organization and problem-solving skills
* Bilingual speaking and writing ability (Spanish) preferred, but not required

Types of decisions that this employee should seek approval before implementing:

* Ordering supplies from vendors
* Any other decisions outside normal practice guidelines

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
* Business correspondence writing skills
* Read and write prevalent spoken language (English) of the hotels employee's and guests

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

* Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, carries, and pushes.
* Lifts and carries supplies, and cases, weighing up to 50 lbs.
* Essential hand/eye coordination
* Work is normally performed in a typical interior hotel, restaurant/bar/casino work environment
* Noise level is moderate to high
* Limited exposure to physical risk
* High level of physical effort required
