This position will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of innovative tools crucial to the efficient service assurance of a large wireless carrier?s network. A high level of innovative thinking and execution is required. A good understanding of wireless network technologies and voice/data call flows will benefit the successful candidate. Strong communication skills are a must. Responsibilities:? Work with Network Engineering to identify their needs and create tools for proactively detecting network problems with CDMA and LTE networks. ? Create tools to assist in monitoring and assessing new telecom systems & technologies. ? Design and implement software programs to gather and report end-to-end performance data to quantify customer experience or network performance. ? Design and implement databases to store historical network data for analyzing patterns in network performance. ? Develop user friendly intranet websites that effectively and intuitively present collected information to a diverse audience.? Automate processes using software tools and scripts.? Code should use object oriented principals with reusability and ease of maintenance in mind. Qualifications:? Experience and Education: o Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or foreign academic equivalent) plus 1 years of related experience or oComputer Science Degree with at least 3 years of experience.? Skills o Visual Studio /.NET 2.0 or .NET 3.0 development experience with strong ASP.NET fundamentals. o ASP.NET MVC ? C# o Entity Framework o Must have proven relational database experience with SQL Server 2005/2008, Transact SQL and general database objects ( Tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, Jobs, triggers) o Strong web fundamentals which include AJAX and Java Script experience. o Comprehensive proven track record in Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processing. o Strong understanding and implementation of Object Oriented Concepts. o Experience developing components and web services o Must work well in a team environment and be willing to participate in code reviews as well as work alone with little direction. o Must be able to communicate, both verbally and written, complex concepts to developers/engineers and non-technical teammates. o Have the ability to be involved in multiple complex projects at one time and quickly change priorities based on changing business requirements.?Nice to Have ?
