Title: Administrative Assistant - General Office Clerk

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a current Administrative Assistant - General Office Clerk job in Omaha. This is a long-term temporary to hire opportunity. As an Administrative Assistant you will perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers. Performs a variety of secretarial and administrative duties, i.e. prepare correspondence/reports, screen calls, maintain appointment calendars, organize requested meetings, arrange conference calls, travel itineraries, complete T&E reports, prepare client presentations as requested, etc. Generally, provides support to additional Administrative Staff in department, VP and Regional Business Directors.

Makes independent decisions within established guidelines regarding planning, organizing and scheduling of work. Has limited access to confidential information.

Resolves most questions/problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Works under moderate supervision.

Polished, good communication skills, word, power point, excel and Outlook experience required. Over all experienced in administrative support tasks, familiarity with First Data and the acquiring business a plus.

Preferred Qualifications Typically 4+ years of broad administrative experience supporting a high level manager or senior executive required. Solid communication and interpersonal skills required, or equivalent military experience.
